After watching the three videos on how to create a hovercraft from scratch I have learned different techniques and the basics. There are many different tools and materials that i need to create this hovercraft for example foam, two craft engines, screws, handy mans kit, nylon string, drill bolts, small air conditioning fan ,metal sheets and saw .I will need a machine that allows air flow such as a vacuum cleaner or leaf blower. A platform that is made out of plywood and able to carry my weight. Ill needs a flexible skirt I cannot make a hovercraft without a skirt! (Use to create air cushion and provides you to lift your vessels.)The last part of my design I will use is a propeller system and that can be use to generate air pressure strong enough to exert air cushion and thrust for the hovercraft. In the first video I choose the girl started off her hovercraft using a 4x4 plywood it started off a square but she made it into a circle using a ruler and cutting it in a circular motion after the wood was cut she cut vent holes inside the circle she use a plastic top to cover the wood then blew it up plug the vacuum cleaner inside it and sat on it and it started moving. In the second video it was a slide show but it still showed me how to make a hover craft although this guy hover craft took him some time it wasn’t a one day project he made a humongous hover craft using all the materials I listed above. and in my last video I choose this boy I made two he made one that didn’t turn out so well and he made one that was a success the difference between the two was a difference in the batteries, how he attach and plug his switches to the fans and onto the batteries and his new one is controlled by a remote control and etc
